Tendering

By working with us, our clients have the flexibility to either increase their tendering capacity or hire in expertise on a project-by-project basis.

The Muxeries Consulting team are all experienced in both single- and multi-stage procurement routes on traditional, management and design and build bases. They bring a wealth of knowledge on a wide variety of project values and market sectors, to achieve cohesive cost-effective tendering solutions. This is achieved by providing the best possible nett cost, by either quotation or historic data.

 

The tendering service we offer includes:

  • Traditional tender pricing via either specification and drawings or client-prepared Bills of Quantities;
  • Resource pricing and evaluation for multi-stage tenders;
  • Design and build.

All tenders will include some, or all, of the following (subject to agreement):

 

  • Attendance at tender launch, settlement and any other intermediate meetings required;
  • Scheduling out of specialist sub-contractor and supplier enquiries;
  • Provision of names and addresses of sub-contractors and material suppliers, in conjunction with your own databases (to facilitate bench-marking);
  • Printing and posting, if required (optional);
  • Pricing of the project, utilising our Excel-based system, including detailed quotation analysis and comparisons;
  • Production and pricing of project-specific value engineering elements (if applicable);
  • Pricing of, or input into, your preliminaries format or our own generic format;
  • Post-tender variations and negotiations;
  • Formal handover to your construction team.
