Main contractors
Site Support QS Services, will include some, or all, of the following (subject to agreement)
- Subcontractor procurement programme;
- We can arrange for subcontract and material enquires to be sent out from either our office or use your office support, these can be issued electronically or in hard copy format;
- Accept and prepare comparisons of quotations received, negotiate further discounts where possible;
- Make subcontract and supplier recommendations to the construction team/Company Commercial manager;
- Attend pre-contract / start meetings to agree terms and conditions with potential subcontractors/suppliers;
- Place orders once agreed and approved (if required);
- Managing Sub-contractor’s interim applications, variation accounts and Final Accounts;
- Site measurement;
- Client interim applications;
- Variation accounts;
- Claims for Extension of Time (EOT);
- Loss and Expense claims;
- Cost and Value reconciliations produced monthly;
- General ongoing Contractual advice.
Post Contract QS Services
- Final Account preparation, negotiation and agreement;
- Subcontractor Final Account resolution;
- EOT / L & E claims.
